> Mike, can't tell you who might breed them - but you have picked the perfect mix as far as I am concerned. My Goldi is now 13 years old and doing pretty good for an old lady - she is smart, protective, playful (still) and loving. I am in the military - she has been overseas, traveled the country with me, she hikes and camps out just fine. In her old age, she is on asprin twice a day for her arthritic hips and sleeps a little more than she used to. When I come back in my next life I want to be a "golden + lab" retriever mix! Good Luck - keep trying the pound, shelter, and resuce organizations.
We have a Lab & Golden Retriever mix and she is so sweet and smart. She was house trained in 4 months, and has the sweetest disposition. I highly reccomend this mix breed. Recently the people we got her from were looking for a home for her brother and sister, but they were already 9 months old, but we live in Winchester, Ky. and hear about a lot of lab & gold puppies.
