jere I am sorry I have not answered sooner but I did go get Sassy soon after and continued her training myself.I bought the lardy tapes and went that meathod.She is doing blind retrieves and handeling quite well.I am having a bit of a problem with her holding point she wants to jump in after 30 or 40 seconds.As far as retrieving she is super and a cripple will not escape her.she is not steady to wing and shot but I have not trained her to do so .So I have no complaints.If the bird stays put she will hold fairley well but if if starts to move at all she will jump in and flush it.I am going to to work on that over the winter.
